Questions and answers on reaching National Education Goal 6 are presented in this document. The six National Education goals for the year 2000 are stated, followed by the America 2000 strategy. (13) What statistics are available on drug use, school crime, and violence among students? (14) What Federal resources are available for anti-drug and violence efforts? (15) Are there requirements to be met before receiving federal funds? and (16) How will schools measure progress in addressing Goal Six?
