This annotated bibliography and library guide were developed for use by nursing students at the City University of New York, College of Staten Island library. The bibliography covers handbooks, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and other materials. The guide also includes information on locating relevant articles and how a researcher can obtain a database search from the library. A sample search for materials relating to aging and care of the aging is given as an example. Basic resources for locating books are described and catalog cards citing materials in the subject area are displayed. Instructions for using an index to locate journal articles concludes the guide. Appended material includes sample indexes and a sample periodicals/serials list. (KRN)
