Five presentations are provided. "Technology Teacher Education: A Framework for Program Redesign" (Thomas Erekson, Scott Johnson) discusses the design and development of a technology teacher education program at the University of Illinois with lists of course requirements and illustrations of course sequence. "Teacher Preparation in Industrial Education: Program Proposal from the Faculty in Industrial Education" (David Bjorkquist) proposes a redesign of the program at the University of Minnesota. Outlines are provided of an undergraduate program for a Bachelor of Science in industrial education and an initial licensure program for industrial technology teachers. "The Impact of the Holmes Group Recommendations at Virginia Tech" (William Dugger, James LaPorte) explores the restructuring of the teacher education program, the change process, and the major impacts. "The Impact of the Holmes Group Recommendations on Industrial Teacher Education at Texas A&M University" (Daniel Householder) considers teacher education requirements and guidelines in Texas, program revisions, and the major impacts. "Technology Teacher Education Proposal with Special Consideration for Career Patterns" (Keith Blankenbaker) offers a proposal that attempts to address technology teacher education from the perspective of career patterns and to outline a program consistent with the Holmes Group goals.
