This bibliography cites over 90 books and handbooks, articles and book chapters, newsletters, reports, and doctoral dissertations on aspects of dialogue journal use in both language and content area instruction. Topic areas include dialogue journal use with deaf children, limited-English-proficient students, multilingual classes, the educable mentally retarded, and the gifted, and at all educational levels from kindergarten through college. Some resources are written for teachers, others for teacher trainers. A variety of teaching strategies, theoretical approaches, instructional contexts, and subject areas are addressed. (MSE)
