The program description and curriculum for Art Partners, a Cranford, New Jersey, after-school program to meet the needs of artistically talented children in grades 3-6, are provided. The program description includes information on: a suggested sequence of activities for 38 sessions, program organization, the artist-in-residence component, area art museums and galleries, field trips, the culminating program exhibition, rules for teachers (developed by gifted children), teacher program responsibilities, and conference days. Activities include making a logo mural or banner, progressive printing montage, sun and shadow printing, using watercolors, using pastels, thinking about reality and creativity, associating color and mood, computer designs, sculpture, wind instruments, and architecture.
