This resource book is one of a series of three information resources containing ideas about instructional technology applications and how certain technology applications may have particular relevance to vocational education. It is designed to help vocational educators make decisions about which technologies to use in their instructional settings. The handbook contains four chapters, each of which focuses on a different dimension of planning. Chapter 1 provides an inventory of planning issues relevant to instructional technologies and an overview of the Illinois education for employment initiative. Chapter 2 contains an overview of media selection models. Curriculum integration issues are addressed in chapter 3. Chapter 4 contains thoughts related to staff development for instructional technologies. The handbook contains 130 references. (KC)
