Designed to summarize relevant information about the college, to support and facilitate the decision-making process, and to further institutional research at Ponce Technological University College (PTUC), this fact book compiles 1989-90 institutional statistical data in 49 tables and 6 figures. The data tables are presented in three sections dealing with student, academic, and administrative affairs respectively. Section 1 dealing with academic affairs presents data tables on the following: total student headcount enrollments by program, year of study, and sex; full-time enrollments and equivalent enrollments by sex and program; incoming freshmen enrollments by test results, family average yearly income, high school grade point average, and father's educational level; degrees conferred; distribution of faculty by program; faculty leaves, promotions, and teaching load; and distribution of audiovisual and library resources. Section 2, dealing with student affairs, presents data on the following: financial aid distributed; funds granted to students by private donors; orientation services offered; sports activities available; and social and cultural activities sponsored. The final section presents data on administrative affairs including tables on: total net area of physical facilities in use in the college; budget distribution by category; salary cost distribution; equipment and supply cost per program; and distribution of utilities cost.
