These notes provide a schedule of events and reports from a 2-day workshop at which various features of the NeXTStep environment and their applications were described and demonstrated: (1) "NeXTStep, Mail" (Bob Desharnais, biology); (2) "Slider and Text Field" (Don Kiel, math and computer sciences); (3) "Objective C" (Don Kiel); (4) "Custom View and Slider" (Don Kiel); (5) "PostScript" (Bob Desharnais); (6) "Customizing Your Application" (Tony Longson, fine arts); (7) "Grapher Object" (Don Kiel); (8)"Icon" (Roland Carpenter, physics and astronomy); (9) "MouseDown Events and Bezier Curve" (Don Kiel); (10) "An Animated Dial Object" (Tony Longson); and (11) "DragIt" (Roland Carpenter). Other faculty members involved in the project were Gary Novak, geology, and Trina Valencich, Vickie and Joe Bragin, and Richard Keys, chemistry.
