This collective bargaining agreement between the Board of Trustees of Community-Technical Colleges and the Congress of Connecticut Community Colleges is intended to promote the quality and effectiveness of education in the Connecticut Regional Community College System. The agreement consists of 25 articles covering the following areas: recognition of bargaining agent; employee rights; rights of the Board of Trustees; rights of the Congress; deduction of dues and service fees; academic freedom; grievances; maintenance of records; appointment and reappointment; working conditions and work load; evaluation; promotion; termination or reassignment for special reasons; separation because of incapacity; transfer and restructuring; dismissal and discipline; sabbatical leave and full-time leave for professional development; short-term and partial leave for professional development; other leaves; holidays and vacations; salaries and fringe benefits; labor management committee; extent of agreement; savings clause; and the term and duration of the agreement. Appendixes include a table of rank and minimum qualifications, teaching faculty salary grids, and retirement benefit rates. In addition, the document contains a longevity schedule, supplemental letters of agreement, an agreement for part-time employees, and an index. (JMC)
