This 5-year strategic plan for the Minot State University's Memorial Library includes: (1) a chart showing the organization of the Minot State University Institutional Planning and Leadership Organization and committee members; (2) a profile of the community served by the library; (3) an assessment of the library's current performance from the perspective of the Association for College and Research Libraries 1986 publication, "Standards for College Libraries," examining library facilities, collections and the collection development process, reference and computer assisted reference services, bibliographic instruction, circulation, interlibrary services, technical services, audiovisual services, the microcomputer laboratory, hours of access, staffing, and financial resources; (4) an analysis of the library's strengths and weaknesses in the areas of facilities, resources, and services; and (5) the strategic plan resulting from the analysis, including statements of goals and objectives to accomplish the library's mission of providing the university community with convenient access to a collection of information and resources and services which provide support for teaching, learning, and research.
