A workshop was conducted to examine educational materials developed in countries in Asia and the Pacific in order to make available exemplary materials to share with other educators in the region. This booklet is a product of that workshop. It includes an overview of the innovative materials selected and two chapters describing innovative projects and materials and follow-up plans for national workshops. The projects and materials profiled include the following: (1) learning to learn; (2) extension study materials; (3) the multimedia approach; and (4) research and evaluation.
