This resource guide provides an annotated list of publications on parenting and caring for children with special health needs, along with a list of organizations that can provide additional information. The list of publications includes 21 books, reports, bibliographies, directories, and periodicals produced between 1982 and 1988. Bibliographic information is provided as well as annotations and availability information. The list of organizations offers names, addresses, telephone numbers, and brief descriptive information for 19 groups, including parent support groups, professional organizations, research and service organizations, information services, advocacy groups, and coalitions.
