This paper describes selected experiences of Korean-American students and students with a Korean heritage from other countries who live and study at the undergraduate level in Korea. Korean-American students' search for their roots and the process of cultural values clarification are examined, with particular emphasis on identifying cultural differences and conflicts through a special topics class in the International Division of Yonsei University (Seoul, Korea). This paper focuses on: (1) the choice to study in Korea; (2) international programs at Yonsei University; (3) information about Yonsei University's International Division; (4) a Yonsei University course on Korea's relationships with other countries; (5) the undergraduate course on selected topics about Korean society; and (6) the Yonsei University study abroad program's goals and outcomes in terms of cultural values clarification.
