This annual report outlines the activities of the Pennsylvania Council on Vocational Education for the year 1987-88 and provides an overview of the status of vocational education in the state. The activities of the council included public meetings on vocational education, a review of the use of federal vocational education funds in the state, a study of the vocational education delivery system, recommendations to the State Board of Education, and compliance reviews for vocational education institutions. The overview of the status of vocational education in Pennsylvania reports programs offered, enrollment, adult vocational enrollment, student organizations, expenditures, special populations, mainstreaming, job placement, earnings of graduates, and job training programs for employers.
