This guide is designed to assist prospective examinees in preparing for the certification/registration examination of the Medical Library Association (MLA). The format of the examination and the types of questions to be found on the examination are discussed, and suggestions for test preparation are provided. Several practice "mini" examinations are included, and test-taking strategies are described. A copy of the MLA's Code for the Certification of Health Sciences Librarians is included, and a 41-item bibliography is provided. (EW)
