This questionnaire puts the principal's role in school improvement projects into a conceptual framework and measures six areas: organizational efficiency, social-informal "concern for people," concern for the educational activities in the classroom, nonintervention techniques, ability to plan and share visions, and ability to trust in others to act in a professional manner. The analysis is based on 499 questionnaires coming from 30 primary schools. In summary, the results of the questionnnaire provide a picture of a cluster of qualities that are correlated with success in permanent improvement of a school.
