Topics covered include correspondence courses, correspondence schools, correspondence study, distance education, educational radio, educational television, external degree programs, home study, independent study, open universities, telecommunications, teleconferencing, telecourses, telephone instruction, and videotex. Information provided for the individual entries, which were identified through computer searches and selective manual searches, include the author, journal article title, year of publication, and ERIC journal number. The names of the journals and the issues in which the articles were published are included in the reviews that appear in both the monthly issues and semiannual cumulative indexes of CIJE. (EW)
