Work Attitudes and Human Relations in Business. Instructor's Guide.
Napier, Deedee
This curriculum guide has been developed for the purpose of providing educators with current, meaningful instructional materials to guide students' personal discovery and development of affective skills vital to both work and life success. Case studies, role-playing situations, student activities, and other resource materials, as well as information on audiovisual resources and computer-assisted instruction are included. The curriculum guide is divided into four units: attitudes, ethics, safety, and the work future; getting to know yourself; self-management skills; and efficiency for greater productivity. The units contain objectives, suggested activities, resources, notes to the teacher, information sheets transparency masters, assignment sheets with answers, and tests with answers. The curriculum guide is designed to provide instruction and activities to encourage and reinforce the development of personal skills in entry-level business and office employees. The guide could be used as part of a business and office block-class and in other secondary, postsecondary, and adult programs. (KC)
