Revised administrative rules for special education and rules for school social worker and school psychological services in Michigan are presented. The rules (which take effect in July 1987) cover such areas as: general provisions (definitions of terms, determination of impairment); evaluation, eligibility, student assignment, and due process procedures; administration of programs and services; qualifications of directors and supervisors; qualifications of teachers and other personnel; financing; development and submission of intermediate school districts' plan; complaints; records and confidentiality; and functions, qualifications, and competencies of school social workers and school psychologists.
