The Academy of Math, Science, and Engineering was established at the Luther Burbank High School of Sacramento, California as a rigorous and competitive academic alternative program. This report contains an evaluation of the second year (1984-85) of the program. Program accomplishments are reviewed in the categories of: (1) student enrollment; (2) student satisfaction; (3) parent satisfaction; (4) teacher satisfaction; (5) work requirements; (6) equipment and materials; (7) course outlines; and (8) teacher suggestions for improvement. Specific recommendations for the Acadamy program are listed. Also included are the program's student questionnaire, parent questionnaire, and the staff evaluation form. (ML)
