This guide contains instructional materials to aid business education teachers in teaching business skills in Alaska secondary schools. The materials include five units covering the following topics: human relations as a separate unit and as integrated into other daily activities such as planning and organizing work activities and grooming, communications (telephone, letters, resources and references), data processing (backing up files, computer terms and definitions), bookkeeping/accounting (computers in small businesses), and secretarial (making travel arrangements). Each unit contains a unit objective, specific objectives, notes to the instructor, information sheets, activity sheets, answers to activity sheets, unit test with answers, and resources and references.
