This document package contains an Air Force course used to train environmental support specialists. The course is organized in four blocks of instruction covering 320 hours (or eight weeks), and is designed for group instruction. The four blocks cover the following topics: environmental fundamentals and support equipment, water and wastewater analysis, water supplies and treatment, and wastewater treatment and disposal. The following materials are included in the package: plan of instruction (lesson plans) for the instructor, student study guides/workbooks for each block of the course, progress checks (tests and performance demonstrations), and some background material on basic physics.
