Men and Sexuality: Bibliography of Selected Resources.
Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc., New York, NY. Education Dept.
This selective, annotated bibliography covers a range of topics associated with male sexuality, reproductive health, and sexism. The books listed in this document are organized in five categories which are not strictly exclusive, as most of the entries overlap topic areas. Part I, Men in Society, contains 10 entries dealing with masculinity, discrimination, the mid-life crisis, older homosexuals, male sexuality and intimacy, sex differences, attitudes about rape, and sexism. Part II, Male Reproductive Health, consists of nine entries in the areas of fertility and infertility, pregnancy, sexual dysfunction, family planning, male contraception, hormones, and reproductive health. Part III, Adolescent Male Sexuality, lists seven entries on sex roles and life plans, sexuality education, and adolescent marriages and parenthood. The 10 entries in Part IV, Men in Relationships, deal with American couples, two-career families, marriage, abortion, rape in marriage, remarriage, sexual solutions, and spouse violence. Part V, Fathering, contains 16 entries on children of working parents, creative parenting, fathering, father-son relationships, pregnancy, childrearing, child development, nontraditional families, and family birth centers.
