Data concerning the place of residence of students attending Maryland colleges during fall 1985 are presented. For each county, data are provided on the number of students attending each Maryland campus, including a breakdown for new full-time freshmen, undergraduate students, graduate students, and professional students. The number of students from each county attending the following types of institutions are also shown: public two- and four-year colleges, private two- and four-year colleges, public total, and private total. Enrollment percentages are also provided in separate tables for Maryland residents, residents of other states, and foreign students, with breakdowns by level of study. Appended are data on the enrollment pattern by place of residence for students of both sexes and all racial/ethnic groups combined, as well as a separate table of this information for black students.
