Focusing on Santa Fe Community College's (SFCC's) second year of operation, this report provides information on the mission, purposes, and governance of the college, as well as an overview of the year's major accomplishments and a look at future directions. Section I briefly reviews second-year developments and accomplishments, including a variety of institutional self-study, evaluation, and planning activities. Section II considers the mission and purposes of SFCC, enumerating the guiding principles for the college, its major overall goals, its general education policy, and specific second-year institutional goals. In section III, aspects of institutional governance are addressed, including the SFCC board, administrative structure, and college councils and committees. Section IV provides information showing the major accomplishments during 1984-85 in the areas of instruction, student profile, community services, student services, finance, administrative services, affirmative action, physical plant, community relations, and the SFCC Foundation. Included in this section are tables providing data on courses offered, student enrollment and characteristics, program costs, and revenues and expenditures.
