This packet, part of the instructional materials for the Oregon apprenticeship program for millwright training, contains five modules covering turbines. The modules provide information on the following topics: types, components, and auxiliaries of steam turbines; operation and maintenance of steam turbines; and gas turbines. Each module consists of a goal, performance indicators, student study guide, vocabulary, introduction, information sheets illustrated with line drawings and photographs, an assignment sheet, a job sheet, a self-assessment test with answers, a post-assessment test with answers for the instructor, and a list of supplementary references.
