These eight units of instruction are the products of a project conducted at Burlington County College in Pemberton, New Jersey, to develop three-dimensional computer graphics units of instruction for use in courses designed to train students in the areas of architectural, civil, drafting and design, and electronics technology. Addressed in the individual instructional units or packets are the following topics: beam selection, loop traverse calculations, foundation footings, retaining walls, computer-aided schematic drawing, computerized specification writing for architectural projects, architectural specifications on a computer, and listings and specifications for all divisions of building specifications. Each unit contains some or all of the following: a title page outlining information concerning course content and timing, goals, a rationale, objectives, learning activities, an assignment, evaluation criteria and activities, a bibliography, sample printouts and program diagrams, a homework assignment, and answers to the homework assignment.
