This guide for teachers in the Houston schools outlines the second semester of a two-semester course on computer mathematics. Course objectives are listed, and a scope-and-sequence chart correlates topics in the course with the textbook ("Computer Programming in the BASIC Language") and suggests vocabulary and time allotments. An objectives-by-topic cross-index is also included, and supplements are indexed to topics. The major portion of the guide presents plans for six objectives included in the textbook and a number of additional objectives not included in the textbook, to be taught if time allows. All provide activities aimed at teaching students how to program the computer for mathematics topics using the BASIC programing language.
