This directory contains descriptions of exemplary California community college vocational education programs and materials for special population students, including disadvantaged persons, limited-English-proficient individuals, handicapped students, and displaced homemakers. Provided in the directory are descriptions of model assessment systems; curriculum guides and materials; management and recordkeeping systems; resource guides; model programs; and reference, audiotape, and bibliographic materials. Each abstract includes a description of the type of resource material and target population; the name of the individual developer or developing organization; a program description; a list of related products; information concerning the effectiveness, usefulness, and impact of the program or resource; and an information source.
