Text Editing with the TRS-80.
Hatherly, Vivian; Affholter, Tom
This individualized text was designed to lead students through a step-by-step course in text editing (word processing) using the TRS-80 Model III or IV. The program used in the course is a modification of SuperScripsit, to be printed out on an Epson printer. The text is organized into six sections covering the following topics: getting started, creating a document, editing techniques, multi-page documents, printer control codes, and advanced techniques. Each section contains several lessons with exercises that students use to practice the techniques covered in the lessons. When students feel that they have successfully mastered a section, the text directs them to ask an instructor for a test to complete for that section. Various document formats are used throughout the text to provide examples for students. (KC)
