This syllabus on substance abuse education, a resource for third, fourth and fifth grade teachers, focuses on concepts pertaining to the proper use, history and effects of various drug products. The development of proper health attitudes and practices is emphasized. Content areas and suggested learning activities are included in teaching outlines for each of seven concepts.
