This report summarizes the results of the fourth full year of a projected longitudinal study of the Child Development Centers Program (CDC). CDC is operated by the Seattle, Washington public schools to provide social services primarily to students four to eight years old. This volume describes the population served, services provided, and student outcomes during the 1976-1977 school year. Program effects leading to improvement in academic achievement, Behavioral Rating Scores, school attendance, and other problem areas are outlined. Appended are tables with extensive data on student characteristics, family background, reasons for referral to CDC services, school distribution, and teacher ratings. (APM)
