This report presents the results of an evaluation on a program-approval basis of the College of Education at Brigham Young University (Utah). During the approval visit by a team organized by the Utah State Office of Education, each teacher education program leading to certification was evaluated according to the Standards for State Approval of Teacher Education developed by the National Association of State Directors of Teacher Education and Certification (NASDTEC). These standards have been adopted by the Utah State Board of Education as the official Utah standards. Each program offered by the College is rated as having fully, partially, adequately, or barely met the state standards. In a few cases, the program was rated as deficient, pending changes. Commendations and recommendations are recorded for each program. (JD)
