An overview is presented of the experiences of American students from Goshen College (Indiana) who participated in an exchange program at Sichuan Teachers College in China. The locale of Sichuan College is described, and the philosophy of Goshen's Study-Service Trimester is outlined. Articles relate the students' perceptions of China, the attitudes of the Chinese exchange students toward their government and the United States, the lifestyle of Chinese students, and comparisons between American and Chinese students.
