A Guide for Utilizing Consultant Teams in CBE.
Bonney, Nancy; Crosby, Jeanie
For staffers, consultants, community coordinators, and community council chairpersons in Teacher Corps projects, this guide tells how to use the Corps' consultant teams for onsite assistance in project goal-setting, planning, implementation, and skills development. The text describes how to determine the need for consultants; clarify the kind of help needed; choose the expertise and characteristics desired in the consultant team; design and implement the consultant team visit; evaluate the visit's impact; and, with the help of the team's collaborative report, decide on future needs and activities. A large selection of sample forms and documents further aids the user in organizing and analyzing the consulting activities. Included in this section are forms for needs assessments, consultant planning, team visit documentation, and consultant evaluation, as well as sample agendas and reports and a list of resource people in the Southeast.
