The 1981 edition of this annual inventory contains descriptions of about 350 research, innovative, and experimental projects concerned with postsecondary education in Canada that are in progress or have been completed during 1980. They represent work of researchers in universities, community colleges, educational organizations, and government departments and agencies. The projects, described in the languages in which they were reported (French or English) are in six categories: general; administration, finance, and manpower; curriculum and teaching; academic and nonacademic staff; students; and extension and continuing education. The report format includes title; brief description; estimated date of completion; name and address of researchers; source of further details if other than the primary researchers; and titles and availability of any publications resulting from the project. University addresses are appended, and researchers are indexed. (MSE)
