This trainer's guide provides content, activities, and background information for seven courses aimed at the prevention of school vandalism and violence. The courses are titled (1) Putting It All Together and Taking It Home, (2) Discipline, (3) School Climate, (4) Interpersonal Relations, (5) Security, (6) Environment, and (7) The Community as a Problem Solving Resource. The seven courses are designed to be presented as a five-day 34-hour program for personnel at schools troubled by violence, vandalism, and disruption. The material is organized by course and module. For each course, a course overview is provided, including a purpose statement for the course, course objectives, and recommended audiences. The modules are categorized as core modules, optional core modules, and advanced modules.
