The Student of the Future: A Profile.
Hollis, Phoebe P.
Rapid change, shifting values, and booming technology are existing societal dimensions having an effect on the student population of the future. The nature of education needs to be changed because of technological advancements, declining enrollment, and changes in work attitudes. Educators must become aware of the speed of change and its drastic effects upon society, and particularly on the student. Educational leaders should be aware that today's actions and decisions determine the future of education, and that the student of the future will depend largely on the interplay among future political, economic, and social trends.
