Entries on each institution provide the following: (1) information about the degree offered and about the required course of study, including thesis requirements, number of hours needed in workshop courses, independent study, and literature courses; and (2) a narrative description of the general program, including information about admission requirements, faculty members and their publications, and names and addresses of people to write for more information about the program.
