The PRIME System: Computer Programs for Statistical Analysis.
Veldman, Donald J.
PRIME is a library of 44 batch-oriented computer routines: 20 major package programs, which use 12 statistical utility routines, and 12 other utility routines for input/output and data manipulation. This manual contains a general description of data preparation and coding, standard control cards, input deck arrangement, standard options, and reporting statistics. All 44 routines are then described. The major programs are written as subroutines without arguments, but must be summoned by a simple FORTRAN driver program. The major programs perform: item analysis, Likert scaling, Rasch Model calibration; descriptive statistics and Chi-squared analysis; transformations and composites; cluster analysis; analysis of variance; intercorrelation analysis; regression analysis; and factor analysis.
