A project was conducted to supplement the process and product evaluation of four Vocational Education Personnel Development Centers (VEPDC) through mail surveys of a representative sample of the clients of the Centers. (These Centers are located at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, The University of Pittsburgh, The Pennsylvania State University, and Temple University.) The primary purposes of the project were to provide information for better direction of use of funding resources in VEPDCs; to provide for the establishment of an improved rationale for administering basic funding; and to improve the accountability for the use of these funds. Activities of the project were accomplished through a series of twelve tasks related to planning, instrument development, pilot testing, revision, administration, data collection, analysis, and reporting. The responses of 855 respondents (out of 1,931 participants) were analyzed and presented in a final report that also included statewide and single-Center summaries. (Author/BM)
