This resource guide is designed to assist educational personnel to expand and increase the effectiveness of their vocational guidance and counseling programs for the handicapped. The guide includes a combination of articles, books, research reports, audiovisual materials, staff training materials, organizations, and directory lists. The references reviewed, which were compiled from a variety of sources, i.e., ERIC, federal and state research and training projects, and private and governmental agencies, address the following areas of concern for the handicapped: (1) counseling; (2) education; (3)job placement; (4) career education; (5) legislation; (6) family counseling; and (7) national and Virginia-based organizations.
