The programs covered include those activities administered by the Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT), the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA), the Job Corps (JC), the United States Employment Services (ES), the Unemployment Insurance Service (UI), the Work Incentive Program (WIN), the Food Stamp Work Registration Program (FS), and ETA's Office of Policy, Evaluation and Research (OPER). The glossary contains the following sections: a description of major ETA programs; a partial list of abbreviations and acronyms; a list of conflicts in terms and definitions as used in ETA programs; and an alphabetical listing of program terms and their definitions.
