Aid, Frances M.; Pino, Octavio
This course guide for a teacher education program takes a modular approach to the training of teachers for Spanish-S programs in bilingual elementary schools. The modules cover the following topics: (1) language acquisition theories (with emphasis on linguistic interference in second language learning), (2) audio-lingual methodology, (3) developing native language (i.e., Spanish) skills, and (4) measurement of linguistic competence.
