This resource book is intended to be used with the companion program guide, and is so arranged that it can be put in a loose leaf binder and incorporated with other notes. It is divided as follows: (1) a discussion in outline form of prescribed material including three methods of organizing the program, a complete indication of the contents of the materials, and suggestions for areas where teacher supplement would be needed; (2) a list of supplementary print material containing bibliographical data, an annotation, a rating and an indication of appropriate level; (3) information on audio-visual materials including film sources, "National Geographic" articles and a version of "O Canada" in German; (4) an annotated list of references for teaching a second language, dictionaries and German authors in English translation; (5) supplementary teaching ideas and activities; (6) evaluation ideas in line with the stated goals and objectives in the accompanying program guide; and (7) useful addresses with brief descriptions of what is available to each one.
