Data on the salaries of full-time teaching staff at Canadian universities for the years 1972-1975 are presented in this two-part report. Part I includes nine tables, three for each academic year. Table 1 of each group provides summary information of teachers by rank and sex. Table 2 gives a detailed breakdown of the number of teachers and median salaries by discipline. Table 3 of each group shows number of teachers and salaries by field of teaching for each region and the entire country. Part II of this report presents information on the relationship between salaries and experience for full-time faculty at Canadian universities. Eighteen tables are presented in Part II, six for each year. Each table contains at least one variable that may be viewed as indicative of experience (highest degree, rank, number of years since highest degree, sex, number of years since first degree, age, number of years since appointment to institution). The survey method, analysis of data, and the variables investigated are explained for both Parts I and II. (SF)
