This guide presents lesson plans to accompany the lessons presented in the associated student text. The lessons are designed to teach social science concepts that enhance the prospective health care practitioner's ability to interact effectively with people and to anticipate the demands of health care delivery situations. An introduction to the concepts to be taught in this approach is provided. Lesson plans provide: (1) a synopsis; (2) objectives; (3) lists of supplies needed for the lesson; (4) suggested teaching procedures; and (5) discussion and suggestions concerning the assignment associated with the lesson.
