Government sponsored projects designed to increase the participation of minority persons and women in educational research and development are outlined in this paper. Each outline includes: (1) the title of the project; (2) the name and address of the project director; (3) the project's duration; (4) the project's funding level; and (5) a brief summary of the project's basic features, educational and training objectives, training approaches, and proposed goals. Projects performed by seven different educational research and development laboratories and centers are described. Seven unsolicited projects are described. Twenty-three projects supported by the grants programs including institutional grants, special project awards and a combination of the two are described. (EB)
