Fifty-six objectives, generally with one sample item each, for art in grades four through six are presented. Sample items are usually art projects. Objectives are arranged in categories: (1) elements of art; (2) using the elements; (3) principles of art; (4) perceptual skills; (5) art history; and (6) techniques. Sample items are drawn from painting, sculpture, print making, drawings, and constructing. Sections giving specific details on the projects--involving evaluation criteria and necessary materials--are provided for teachers. (MH)
