The sourcebook provides descriptions of 16 exemplary middle school/junior high school resource room programs in Massachusetts. Programs in the following schools are covered: Walsh Middle School (Framingham), Wilson Junior High School (Natick), Oxford Middle School (Oxford), North Junior High School (Pittsfield), Sutton Middle School (Sutton), Joyce Junior High School (Woburn), William B. Rogers Middle School (Hyde Park), Joseph Brooks Junior High School (Lincoln), Nathaniel H. Wixon Middle School (South Dennis), Masconomet Regional Junior High School (Topsfield), Dedham Junior High School (Dedham), Dighton Junior High School (Dighton), Barnstable Middle School (Hyannis), Marblehead Junior High School (Marblehead), and Qualters Middle School (Mansfield). It is explained that programs were rated in the following areas: classroom environment, learning environment, educational plans, evaluation process, consultation, parent involvement, and additional programing.
